ControlTrac computers are specifically designed for enterprise-grade fleet services integrators; combing application-specific I/O, communications, and processing capability in a rugged, compact package.
ControlTrac CT650™ continues the CT6xx series of these rugged computers used for vehicle telematics since 2005.
CT650 represents a substantial evolution from previous models. This latest version uses Dyacon’s own build of the Linux operating system for the unique hardware features of this compact computer. The opensource operating system allows software developers to utilize familiar programming tools, such as an ARM GNU cross compiler for the development of their final product. CT650 also includes common command line scripting capability.
CT650 includes a CAN bus port for polling J1939 vehicle parameters, such as road speed, odometer, and engine temperature. Users can develop their own J1939 library, install a licensed protocol stack, or use opensource libraries.
Other I/O includes RS232, RS485, digital I/O, and an embedded cell phone with GPS/GNSS receiver.
