“…This has greatly improved our ability to anticipate the need to stop operations. We have had fewer interruptions to our operations since installing the weather station. We are very impressed with the reliability of the unit.”
“For the last 4 years we have been using the Dyacon system with text message access with great success. The equipment is very reliable, provides a timely and accurate transmission of important airport weather.”
Manuals & Software
Dyacon MS‑135TM is a basic weather station uses a WiFi connection to provide core weather information to commercial and industrial users.
MS‑135 includes a control module, wind sensor, air sensor, solar power module, and mounting hardware. The WiFi makes installation quick and easy. Data is automatically uploaded to DyaconLive, once the user set their WiFi network credentials.
MS‑135 includes the same Modbus port and other standard features as other Dyacon weather stations, so it can be used in wireless and wired configurations. (More about Modbus.) MS‑135 can also automatically upload data to the user’s Weather Underground account.
In addition, with the installation flexibility provided by the Tripod‑1 (an optional add-on), MS‑135 can be located for optimal measurements, whether in the backyard, at a summer cabin, around evaporation ponds, or other locations where WiFi is accessible.

Other sensors and features may be added to this weather station as needs change. These include the following:
- Rain gauge
- Solar sensor
- Temperature probe (soil, liquid, or surface)
MS‑135TM is shipped with a control module, wind sensor (WSD‑1), air sensor (TPH‑1), solar module, mounting brackets, air sensor pipe, and wires. The tripod and aspiration kit are optional add-ons and are purchased separately.
Weather Station MS‑135 uses Dyacon sensors to build a solution that is unique, expandable, and flexible.
Brackets and hardware are included for mounting the components onto 3/4” to 2” pipe or a flat surface. (Tripod is sold separately.)
Separate wind and air sensors allow for instruments to be positioned at conventional elevations or as required by the application.
The included Dyacon control module utilizes WiFi to upload to DyaconLive, a Dyacon weather station web portal. Data can also be sent to your server. Contact Dyacon for more information.
A 24‑bit ADC digital pressure sensor has the capability of delivering 10 cm (+/- 1.5 mbar) resolution. Barometric pressure is contained in the TPH‑1 sensor.
The control module is equipped with both USB device and Modbus slave ports for connecting to data-hosting equipment, such as PCs or programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
A 10 W solar module powers the MS‑130 and charges an internal battery. The system is designed to go five days of normal operation without solar input. An adaptive power algorithm extends critical operation for several more days.
Weather Station MS‑135 is designed to be installed and maintained by the user. Sensors shipped with the unit are preconfigured and tested prior to shipment. Full instructions are provided so that setup can be done by the user without technical support.
MS‑135 includes a 12 V output for the Smart-Fan aspirated air sensor, which improves the temperature accuracy in sunny conditions.
Accessories and Options
Weather Station Tripod
Constructed of machined and welded aluminum, Tripod‑1TM uses a modular construction for versatile field configurations. Adjustable leg extensions allow for accurate and stable positioning on sloped and uneven ground. Maximum mast heights exceed 15 ft (4.8 m).
Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge – Standard Funnel
RGTB‑6TM is a chrome-plated tipping bucket that collects rain in 0.01″ increments. With each tip, a signal is sent to attached equipment. RGTB‑6 is designed for high accuracy in low- to medium-rate precipitation environments. This tipping bucket rain gauge is best used where precipitation rates are typically below 4 in/hr (100 mm/hr).
