UA‑1™ ultrasonic anemometer can be used on Dyacon MS-100 series weather station. It provides wind speed and direction in a compact package. Digital data are delivered using the Modbus RTU industrial protocol, which allows for long cable runs to computers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), BAS, SCADA, and some data loggers.

Description

UA‑1™ is an ultrasonic anemometer that provides both wind speed and wind direction in a digital, smart wind sensor.

UA‑1 can be installed on Dyacon MS‑100 series weather stations.

This Modbus sensor can also be used independently for industrial applications and can be connected directly to PLCs, SCADA equipment, and DCS to directly add environmental data for other automation and logging applications.

Construction

UA-1™ is made of machined acetal and nylon 12.

Mechanical construction minimizes snow accumulation.

Wind Direction and Speed

The wind direction and wind speed are detected using ultrasonic technology.

Mounting

The mounting tube fits over standard 3/4” pipe (IPS, SCH40), actual pipe OD 1.05″ (26.7 mm).

Data Connection

Power and data are supplied through a 4-wire connection. UA‑1 wind sensor uses a Modbus RTU slave interface.
