MS-135 Description
MS-135
Dyacon MS‑135 is a fully-loaded meteorological station, right out of the box. The system includes the control module (data logger), wind sensor, and barometric-humidity-temperature sensor. This configuration provides a full range of measurement capability for weather observations.
Customizable
MS‑135 has just about everything needed for basic weather applications. However, it can still be expanded with a temperature probe, aspirated (fan) radiation shield, and power expansion system.
Connected
Users will find that DyaconLive provides accessible, actionable, real-time information for the full data set generated by MS-135. Weather Underground is still an option for more limited data.
Of course, the Modbus RTU port can be used for direct connection to automation controllers and personal computers.
SMS text messaging directly with the weather station allows for instant condition reports as well as remote configuration and control of the weather station.
Installation
In spite of the impressive features, MS-135 is still easy to configure and install. Unlike high-end data logger systems, the MS-135 Weather Station does not require any programming or specialized skills.
Users should consider adding our Tripod, which provides a stable platform for mounting the weather station in most locations.
MS‑135 can also be connected to Modbus RTU industrial automation controllers and personal computers.

Key Features
Basic Configuration
MS‑135 is shipped with the control module, wind sensor (WSD), air sensor (BHT), solar module, and mounting hardware. The tripod option is recommended for ease of use and optimum sensor performance.
Construction
The MS-135 Weather Station uses Dyacon modules to build a solution that is unique, expandable, and flexible.
Brackets and hardware are included for mounting the components on ¾” to 2” pipe or flat surface. (Tripod sold separately.)
Separate wind and air sensors allow for instruments to be positioned at conventional elevations or as required by the application.
Barometric Pressure
A 24-bit ADC digital pressure sensor element has the capability to deliver 10 cm (+/- 1.5 mbar) resolution. Barometric pressure is contained in the BHT sensor.
Wireless
The included Dyacon control module utilizes a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module for command and control as well as weather reports.
Solar Power
A 10 W solar module powers the MS‑135 and charges an internal battery. The system is designed for 5 days of normal operation without solar input. An adaptive power algorithm extends critical operation for several more days.
Installation
The MS-135 Weather Station is designed to be installed and maintained by the user. Sensors shipped with the unit are pre-configured and tested prior to shipment. Full instructions are provided so that setup can be done without technical support.
Accessories
MS‑135 includes a 12 V output for the Smart-Fan aspirated air sensor, improving the temperature accuracy in sunny conditions.
Weather Station Tripod
Tripod uses a modular construction for versatile field configurations. Adjustable leg extensions allow for accurate and stable positioning on sloped and uneven ground.
Aspirator Kit For BHT Sensor
Keep your air temperature sensor cool with the Aspirator Fan upgrade option to Dyacon Barometric/Humidity/Temperature sensors. Kit may also be used to upgrade units in the field.
