Dyacon Tripod Bag is a carrying bag designed to securely hold and safely transport Tripod-1™.
Tripod-1 is a portable aluminum field tripod designed to support weather station equipment, antennas, and similar equipment. With a weight of <10 kg (<25 lbs), the tripod can be easily transported to remote locations. The Tripod Bag easily accommodates either 7-segment or 10-segment versions of Tripod-1, plus any spare parts.
Weather station Tripod Bag is actually two bags: one bag is designed to hold Tripod-1, and the other bag is for the stakes. Both bags are constructed of 1000d nylon and made in the USA. A simple, durable grommet and hook closure (similar to military duffle bag closuress) is used. A zippered side pocket on the outside of the bag holds the guy cables and any tools. Attached compression straps allow Tripod-1 components to be bound tightly together to prevent rattling and damage during transport. A drawstring closure also prevents stakes from touching and/or damaging the tripod.
The Tripod Bag is 23″ (280 mm) long.
