Weather Station MS-150 features

Automated Cell Phone Weather Stations

In many businesses and situations, its important to have access to weather information; whether that be for worker safety, livestock conditions, or take off and landing. There are regional forecasts readily available, but the best option is always the one that gives you the most accurate, up to date information for your location at a moments notice; and that is exactly what an Automated Cell Phone Weather Station will do for you.

Similar to ASOS and AWOS systems for airports, automated weather stations offer current weather information from remote areas while needing little to no human labor. An AWS system typically includes multiple sensors as well as some form of power and mounting technique- varying depending on the system’s use. At Dyacon, we have weather stations designed to fit every need.

After being installed, the Dyacon weather stations begin to send weather reports and alarms strait to the users cell phone in the form of SMS. The user needs only to send a text command to receive updated information. In addition, alerts can be sent for temperatures outside a designated range, lightning, changing wind speeds, wind gusts, and other conditions.  Because of our variety and various gauges, our weather stations are perfect for any use in the field.

Data Logging

All Dyacon MS-1XX weather stations use the same control module, so standard Dyacon communication features consisting of Modbus, USB configuration, and Weather Underground compatibility are included. An added benefit of our MS-100 weather station series is it’s autonomous data logging located inside the control module. In addition we have an assembly of components including cellphone capability.  After being installed, the MS-1XX begins to send weather reports and alarms strait to the users cell phone in the form of SMS. Alerts can be sent for temperatures outside a designated range, lightning, changing wind speeds, wind gusts, and other conditions. The user needs only to send a text command to receive updated information. The best part? No additional software, websites, or computer programs are required.

Power Supply

Dyacon weather stations have two options for power: battery-operation and solar power-operation. All stations can have both installed for added protection.

Mounting

The Dyacon Tripod-1 is our suggestion for the mounting of all stations we sell. The adjustable leg extensions allow for accurate and stable positioning on sloped and uneven ground. Extended to its full height- the tripod will exceed 15 ft (4.8 m).
